Robert requested a baseball themed shin-dig to celebrate birthday #5. We had it at a lovely little park and asked everyone to wear something that represented their favorite baseball team. Sean had 3 grills going at once and we set up a mini-baseball field. There was popcorn, pretzels, a semi-organized t-ball game, and lots of friends and fun. Even a 10 minute sun-shower at the end of the party didn’t even put a damper on Robert’s spirits. As we were heading home, he told me (with the biggest grin on his face) that this was his best birthday party ever.
